WHAT WILL GOD SAY?

Do you wonder what God thinks of you and all the moments that make up your life? What will He say to us when we move into eternity? How will our triumphs or our failures be examined by the God of all the universe? I have believed for along time God is mad at me for all the failures in this life. I'm talking about failures that have been confessed to Him. As I have tried to work through these feelings of fear I believe He has shown me something I didn't expect and I want to share it because I believe it speaks to us all. God's ultimate question to us, I believe, will be not to ask why we didn't trust Him and went on to by our own free will to sin, but He will ask why didn't you love and forgive and restore each other the way I through my Son, love and forgave and restored you unto death? Something to think about huh?

OK, I don't believe anyone in Washington, and haven't for a very long time! I just want to share my idea for solving all the debt of this nation and the world!! Ha Ha , here goes: Plan A (not likely) Everyone in the world has a heart for the Lord and we repent and turn all our cares over to Him>>>> Plan B (as pertaining to the debt of this nation and the world) Everyone, in the world forgives any money debt that is owed to them and we all start over at zero debt.This means all companies, individuals, countries, ect.. ....Everyone keeps the assets they have in possession, but all debts are free and clear.... The year of jubilee!!!!! Think about it!!! It would work. It is God's way of starting over fresh!!! Have Washington call me, and we can go over the details! LoL

To Much Work and Stress

I have been recently working many hours at my business, so much so that the days were beginning to run together and my mind was beginning to withdraw from everything.
Some friends from church ask me to come to the Lake to relax on a Saturday evening(they were camping out)you see. I thought it over and could think of several reasons why I didn't want to go, none of them good reasons but I had almost called and said no thanks when, I felt God say softly ,"go".
So I got my bug spray,lawn chair,sun block, lantern, knife and football and headed to the recreation site. As I started driving I suddenly felt for sure I was headed where I needed to be. Saw a mother deer and two fawns as I drove into the park, and the general lay of the land was breathtakingly beautiful. I had forgotten how much I loved the outdoors. As I drove up to the campsite, there were all my friends looking like people who had been in woods several day, but smiling, laughing and motioning me to come on. I smiled too. Later, by the glowing campfire the men talked and laughed and prayed, thanking God for all He has done for us and for the hope we have in Him. It was a good evening and a welcome change from the pressure of business!

What we have done in our flesh can't advance or discredit the kingdom of God! It is after all His kingdom and the glory of God is not based on my feeble efforts to do good or my ability to sin greatly but on His decision before the foundation of the world to rescue us!!! All mankind will sin, it is why He came to earth to save us. The reckoning and becoming of those in Christ is based on Him not on any man's ability. Your position in Christ is therefore your only hope, and the belief that He is making us like Him (no matter how long it takes) is the good news to be shared with all mankind!

Did you know that between 490 and 1356 a.d. the Caddo Nation ruled and lived in the East Texas area? There were scores of these people in this very area with their own culture and traditions and families, not unlike the Indian civilizations of Mexico. They built mounds everywhere to live on and bury their dead. You can find artifacts in many places around the Mt. Pleasant, Paris Texas area. They all but disappeared after the Spanish arrived because of small pox. There were less than 5000 by 1850.
It just seems strange to me that cultures, countries and people come and leave with barely a trace to show they were here. Stories of lives and ways that are lost forever, known only to God. Got me to thinking about 100 years from now when I'm just a name on a stone somewhere. Even with the Lord I'll have to admit I feel very alone sometimes, but without Him eventually everything that has happened in this time and place will slowly fade to nothing. Who has all the answers and reasons for all that has transpired and all that is to come. I know His name. Jesus

No matter how you feel about your past, present and future, one thing is for sure:
God is pursuing you with all His power and purpose. It is easy to feel that you are not important to God but the truth is this: He bought you with a tremendous price! Sometimes we have so many things that seem to soak up our time, we don't leave time for Him to show us anything about His love. We are neck deep in things to salve our pain or entertain our simple minds. Whether you are in a valley or on a mountain top, turn to God and give Him your pain or your blessings. He will show you His love and understanding and grace.

May you grow closer to Him today!

Hey Texas Royal Pizza has secured a booth at the Ignite conference in Burleson Texas.
I hear Chris Tomlin will be singing and Kirk Cameron of "Fireproof" fame will be speaking!
The event is this Saturday May 2, 2009 at Burleson High School. If you get a chance come on by and check it out. We will be selling Pizza by the slice, salads, and cookies.

I really struggle with wanting to be alone and away from people. I'm not sure if it's because I feel guilty because of sin or if I am just selfish beyond belief. As Forrest Gump would say."both things are happening at the same time." If you struggle with those things like me, the only things that I have found that brings you back are prayer and service to others. As much as I enjoy a hot cup of tea sitting on the porch in the evening alone, it is empty without the friendships and relationships that God has ordained for us to live in. I'm a slow learner when it comes to relationships and what makes them meaningful. However, this life is a becoming, to become like Christ. He will teach you and mold you until you leave this earth. Prayer and service to others are the tools we train with while we are here. I am so thankful He does not let me stay to long on the porch drinking tea. God Bless you!

Have you ever been down? I mean really down about a circumstance in your life. I have been there a few times in my life, including last week. I could barely bring myself to rise out of bed and face the day. I finally took a shower, dressed, and gathered things for the work day. As I was driving out of the small town I live in, suddenly I pulled over and stopped. I then shut my eyes and started thinking of my kids and my friends at work and the blessings that God has given to me this year. My heart started to become so thankful that tears started flowing down my cheeks. For a brief moment I felt this beautiful, unexplainable, wonderful presence invade my spirit. It was humbling and yet uplifting at the same time. God made Himself known to me once again and left no doubt as to His love for me. I say that to say this: Why wouldn't we all want God invading our lives in such a way? He knows our failures and our pain our joy and hope, yet we don't care to trust Him with those things until we are in a miserable state of mind. I have decided to go to Him with every thing in my life because I want to trust him more and more. I hope you will too! God bless you and keep you!
